Audi 200 Ignition Systems were designed for this vehicle introduced in 1980 and was based on the type 43 Audi 100 but with differing external features. There were two versions of this vehicle, one version was essentially an audi 100, and the second version was turbocharged and developed 170bhp. In 1985 the permanent 4 wheel drive system (Quattro) was implemented on all these models. Audi 200 Ignition Systems fit this vehicle and compliment its performance and styling. The audi 200 Ignition Systems and its performance driven engines of the 1980s spawned the new lineup of performance audi's; namely the S4 and RS6. In order to pave the way for these new vehicles audi discontinued this model in 1991. Check out our Audi 200 Ignition Systems. You will not be disappointed in your Audi 200 Ignition Systems purchase.
The ignition system consists of several components that work together to start and keep the car running. The ignition system can consist of the battery, spark plugs, spark plug wires, distribution block and ignition coil. These components work together to ignite the gas/air mixture that enters the piston. The battery provides the energy the ignition coil increases the voltage significantly like a transformer and the spark plug wires transfers the energy to the spark plugs which ignite the gas/air mixture. If any of these components doesn't function properly the car may run poorly or not at all.
